Telehealth Physiotherapy

What Is telehealth physiotherapy?

Telehealth physiotherapy is a new way of delivering physiotherapy services to patients. It offers a convenient, cost-effective and time-efficient alternative to traditional in-person visits.

Physiotherapists can use it to treat patients remotely, or they can work together with other healthcare professionals to provide care when needed.

The benefits of telehealth physiotherapy are:

  • Patients experience shorter wait times for treatment
  • The process is more cost-effective
  • Using telehealth physiotherapy allows therapists to reach more people in rural areas that may not have access otherwise
  • It has the potential to reduce the number of missed appointments
  • Patients feel more satisfied with their care because they are in control of how and when they get their therapy
  • Therapy sessions can be more flexible.
